1. The service

FindMe lets group admins create groups, invite people with a link and an optional PIN, and see the live positions that members choose to share, together with how long ago each position was taken. Groups can include a chat. Admins can allow external software of their choice to read a group's positions.

2. Not an emergency service

FindMe is a coordination tool. It is not an emergency, safety or rescue service and must not be relied on to protect life or property. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number. The accuracy and frequency of positions depend on the device, GPS and network signal, battery and operating-system settings, and positions may be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable.

3. Account

You must be at least 14 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your country), provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person, one account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share or obtain the location of anyone without their knowledge and agreement, or use FindMe for stalking, harassment or covert surveillance;
• use FindMe to locate minors, or to monitor workers in breach of employment law;
• send unlawful, offensive or infringing content in chats;
• attempt to guess group IDs or PINs, bypass limits, or disrupt the service;
• resell or provide access to the service to third parties without our consent.

Group admins are responsible for how their group is set up and used, including informing members about who can see their position.

5. Moderation, suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts and groups that violate these terms or the law, or to protect members. You can delete your account at any time from the app; owned groups and their data are deleted with it.

There is no tolerance for objectionable or abusive content or users. In any chat you can report a message or block its author; we review reports within 24 hours, remove offending content and ban the accounts responsible.

6. Plans and payments

FindMe offers a free plan and paid plans (Standard and Pro) with the features and limits shown on find-me.cloud and in the app. Prices include VAT for consumers in the EU. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by Apple or Google under their terms; subscriptions bought on our website are billed through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers). You may withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase. If you ask us to start the service immediately, you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided, and that for partial use we may charge a proportionate amount. Purchases made through Apple or Google are refunded according to their procedures.

7. Your content

You keep the rights to the messages, photos and videos you send. You give us the licence needed to store and deliver them to the intended recipients. Group admins can delete all chat content at any time.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep FindMe available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect paid plans.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, or for damages resulting from inaccurate, delayed or missing positions or messages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our fault, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law, including the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify significant changes in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before then.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and the competent court is that of your place of residence or domicile. Otherwise, the Court of Rome has exclusive jurisdiction.
